OMGoodness! AH-mazing!!
So, a back in April, we went out to a restaurant on Mt. Rainer for my moms birthday. She used to work there when she was in high school. They had this "Blackberry Butter". At first I was skeptical, but if any of you have ever tried it before- you know, it is to die for!
I have been wanting to make it since then and I just have never gotten around to it... until today! :)
I made a lot...
I used 5 cubes of butter and almost all of a 12oz raspberry carton and about 3-4 teaspoons of powdered sugar(you can use as much or as little as you want).
Whip the butter and powdered sugar with a mixer until fluffy(using the whipping piece) then add the raspberries and using the mixer piece- just mix the berries until they start breaking apart- this will only be about 5 seconds!

I save all my baby food jars so I put the butter into these.
All those cubes made 7 small baby food jars worth!

ReplyDeleteUPDATE: Don't leave it out... it goes bad. We left it out over night and the next morning it was awful! :( At least the rest was in the fridge!
